"The tongue is laser cut and feels kind of stiff on my first wear around the house. I’m cautiously optimistic that will soften up because I love the rest of the fit, but I had a bad experience with another shoe with a similar tongue rubbing a spot on my shin raw on the second run. I do like the grip insole and with a different, softer tongue design could see these being 100 mile shoes."

"These are my new favorite trail shoes. Whether I'm climbing or descending, the traction keeps me confident in my footing. When the trail is wet or slippery, the High Country's grip stays solid. I had been battling Planters fasciitis in my left foot for many months, and after a couple of weeks of running trails in the shoe the fasciitis was gone. It is a great Trail shoe!"

"These shoes are sooo comfortable. For running or just everyday wear. I’m on my feet a lot and wore these for work. I love them. They looked casual enough to wear with jeans. I prefer these to my Hokas and Brooks for comfort."

Is this the perfect trail shoe?
"I hike and trail run a lot of miles, on varying terrain, and I have to say this shoe is where it's at. I love it so much I don't want to take it off and wish I could afford several more pairs so I wouldn't have to! First of all, the grip is outstanding. I've got the upper hand on that loose scree that most of us power through with frustration. The width is perfect in that it gives me great stability so I am not constantly rolling my ankles, but not too much for my slightly narrow feet. The cushion is just right. I can feel the trail/ground under me just enough to not lose my footing but I feel cushioned enough that my knee and hip pain have gone away. These shoes are responsive too. The sole is curved perfectly for proper push off, propelling you forward with ease. The shoestrings stay tied without knots, which I love and there's a little extra padding on the tongue to keep the top of my foot from getting sore from the strings rubbing. Did I mention the color schemes? These are MY COLORS!! That was initially the reason I just had to have them. It's so hard to find women's shoes in good colors. I am tired of pastel "girlie" colors and white. These warm colors caught my attention immediately and I have had so many compliments. I purchased the Seedpearl because almost everything I wear is in those colors, but the Mineral Blue is incredible too and I would love to have both! Thank you for making a women's shoe in bolder colors. Gore-Tex in these would be awesome! I purchased a 7. 5 and that is my normal size and they fit perfectly."

"Very different than my other trail shoes as it has a lot more cushion. But the grip/traction was great even in the mud and rocks, and I could still feel the trail. Really like the color. Fit was great even for my very narrow feet. Feels true to size."
Size Up and Enjoy - Worth the Price Tag
"I love these shoes! They are super comfy - the perfect amount of cushion, while still feeling the trail beneath your feet. Great at any speed. The speedgoat stopped working for me post-partum because it was too narrow, and this shoe is the perfect width. It also feels lighter than the speedgoat. The grip is awesome on rocky technical wet Georgia trails, and it was really fun on the forest service roads too. It can do it all! I did have to size up a half size, which I rarely EVER have to do, so I would advise going up a half size from your usual size. Definitely worth the price tag."
