Your goals and preferences make you awesome. They also help you find your ultimate pair of shorts. We consider both “Fit” and “Rise.” Fit refers to tailoring and how the shorts actually fit on your body. Loose? Snug? Rise refers to where the shorts sit relative to your natural waistline. The combination of these will get you to the perfect pair of shorts, as if we made them just for you.
Fit
Fitted: medium compression hugs you all over
Tailored: never boxy or fussy but keeps close to the body
Semi-relaxed: hangs looser for casual shape
Relaxed: wider hip and leg openings, yay!
Rise
You shimmy into your shorts. How high on you does the waistband rise? …That’s the gist! You might have a preferred rise for your comfort level or mix it up with different activities.
Low: at your hips, well below the navel
Mid: just a bit below your navel now
High: navel to natural waist
