Favorite quote:  "It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing... I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, to remember the limitations of being human." -Oriah

A close second is "I just like to smile, smiling's my favorite." -Buddy the Elf

PRs: For me, the more climbing in a race, the better, so PRs don't matter too much. However, in 2016 I did set a 50 mile PR of 7:27:08 at TNF Endurance Challenge - San Francisco (over 10,000ft of climbing).

Fun facts:
- My first trail/ultra race ever was a 100 miles and I somehow managed to win.
- I found ultra/trail running through a series of interesting events that led to me doing a 10 day trek across Akshayuk Pass (Baffin Island) as a youth ambassador for the non-profit Impossible2Possible.
- I believe in never passing up a carousel ride (unless it's ridiculously expensive).

Nickname:  The Riveter (after Rosie the Riveter. Not an easy nickname to live up to but it's a good challenge!)

Birthday:  June 28, 1988

Favorite movie:  All of the Harry Potter movies or Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium

Proudest accomplishment:  In 2010 the United Way of Lake County gave my twin sister, Ray, and I the Above & Beyond award for the money we raised for charity and creating Lake Erie College's first volunteer group. Honestly it's not the award that I'm proud of, it's that my sister and I both figured out that we actually do have the ability to make a difference in the world. I would even say this experience gave me the courage to sign up for my first ultra race because it helped me believe in myself.

Goals for 2018:  To keep learning and improving, both physically and mentally. I know that seems quite broad, but that's where my thinking is as I write this.

Favorite rabbit gear and why:  All of it! It's too hard to pick just one item. However, I love summer mountain running and my key clothing items for that are the mountain climbers (shorts), breezy back (jacket), and race-her-back (tank).
