My favourite running shorts!

"I love these shorts. After endless deliberation (I’ve got a mix of both small and medium Rabbit apparel), I went for a size medium. For context, I’m a 5ft 3”, 128lb, with quite muscular legs. Material: wonderfully soft, stays put, doesn’t ride up. I’ve done a few all-day running and walking adventures and have held up well. Perfect thickness of material, versatile for all (UK) seasons. Pattern and colour: great Pockets: oh my gosh the pockets! These have SO much room. Side pockets don’t feel weighted down when carrying water/phone in them. The waistband’s many pockets are a dream. These were quite an investment for me (UK shipping fees) but no regrets whatsoever 😊"

I’ll never race in any other shorts

"I can’t wear any kind of belt or storage for fuel etc. I’ve tried them all. For some reason these pockets around my waist feel different than a belt and I can carry all I need without my waist feeling too loose or like it’s dragging down. And for vanity’s sake, I no longer look like a pack mule in race photos carrying everything in my side pockets"

Overall solid trail running shorts

"I found the upper band to be a little uncomfortable, possibly the fabric or the design (a different material perhaps? To ensure stability for the potential added weight of carrying items in the pockets?). I've used the pockets to carry phone, keys, nutrition, and a water flask. The shorts have not ridden up or bunched up or rolled up on me (at least not yet). The pockets are incredibly handy, but man, definitely a bit humbling to have bulges all over the waist *while* running. . . So, yeah, there's some jiggling happening. The design is super cute and the quality is, as expected, top shelf. Overall, happy with my purchase, even if wearing all my running junk around my middle means I definitely won't be making eye contact with anyone else on the trails."

Perfect shorts for long distance!

"I got these shorts for the Paris Marathon. They have tons of pockets (two on each side, plus front and back) so I didn't need to race with a fanny pack for my gels. The fit was perfect--snug, but not constricting. They didn't move or shift during the entire race. And the fabric is really soft, no chafing anywhere. These are truly amazing shorts! Got myself a second pair as a treat when I got home!"

"I have been trying to get a hold of a pair of smashems for awhile now and finally pulled the trigger. I was skeptical that they wouldn’t compare to my oiselle ones that have some super nice waistline pockets but I do love these. Slightly thicker material, fit well, and pocket access is just what I was hoping for with all the snacks and fuel. My only wish is that I would love a 3” inseam option. Excited to add these to my lineup this season for ultra racing."

Good For Us Thick Thigh Girls

"As a thick thigh girly that’s got weightlifting legs, I’ve always struggled to find spandex shorts that wouldn’t ride up and force chaffing on runs. ChatGPT recommended these for reviews based on what I was looking for and I’m very grateful I purchased them! My only reservations is the strings are really unnecessary in my opinion and only form bulky little lines, trying to find a way to cut them out. I wish there were more colors to choose from as well. I am 5’4, 150lb and typically I do a M in bottoms but after reading some reviews on sizes, I purchased a S and I’m really glad I did!"
