Comfy and no chafe!

"Love the higher waist, and these stay put unlike other bun huggers or spandex shorts. The gel pocket is awesome! No bounce and keeps even larger gels secure for the entirety of your race or run"

Great fit and coverage

"I wear buns for long runs when sooo hot in the AM. These fit nicely, great coverage of cheeks and waist not too high. Pocket is nice too."

These are good but…

"The general consensus of my girls is that they prefer the buns from a few years ago that were lower down on the hips and just a tad higher on the leg. They aren’t looking for a bikini bottom but feel these go to far in the direction of the “granny panty” look. Still they prefer to run in these over other kinds of shorts. The material has a good feel, they don’t ride up or shift in other ways while running. Easy to blouse your jersey and it stays where you want it through the race."

Great racing bun

"I have both the old buns and these new ones. I love these new ones, the mid rise is exactly what the older version needed. I'm also happy the large "rabbit" logo on the back was removed with this edition. They fit perfect and stay in place. Definitely recommend."

Jessica (5/5)

Big improvement

"These buns are a big improvement over the Ready, Let's Bun, the waist comes up higher, of you wear it at mid rise (like it's designed) the coverage in the back is full. They stay in place. And they're plenty of room in the crotch. Overall, I really like them and am looking forward to racing in them soon. The only criticism I had is that the pocket, while big enough to fit three gels, has a clunky flap closing that isn't as good as the pockets where you just drop stuff in. It's a little awkward. I also still wish the waist came up higher than mid rise, while still providing full coverage in the back. The buns the Adidas Elites sometimes wear seem like the perfect cut to me. Will probably wear this in my next half but go with the first place shorts for the marathon because of the pockets issue."
