Love the fit!

"I wanted some "bike shorts" for outdoors use, that aren't extremely high rise, like most. These are a winner. They sit lower than most, resting about halfway between the hips and and the natural waist. I purchased a size Large, which should technically be tight on my waist, but I agree with others that they fit slightly large, which was perfect for me. An XL would have been way too big. These fit secure, but not too tight, offering plenty of room throughout. And while they aren't painted-on-tight, they don't fall down or ride up. I would say the fit is perfect. If you like a slightly looser fit in bike shorts, I would say these are perfect. The side pockets are the perfect size for a smartphone, with the perfect amount of tension to keep the phone secure, but accessible. I definitely recommend these, and look forward to. irr colors, and longer lengths."

still rides up

"At least they don’t ROLL up. I sized up one size in these. I use vaseline on my inner thighs to help stick shorts like this in place but would be nice if they had a silicone band like bike tights so they’d stay in place better. That is basically my only gripe though. They’re well made and I love all the pockets and the pocket placement"

fit changed - XS size got too small

"The XS in coral is too small. This is my 3rd pair of Speedy Leggy 4" and they're noticeable smaller than the previous two pairs of XS that I have been running in for the past 3 years. Don't go any smaller!!! The XS from last year and two years ago fit perfectly now the waist is cut too small and it makes for a uncomfortable fit. If I go up to small the waist fits but the leg is loose and longer. Very disappointed as I own many Rabbit outfits for all seasons of running. I'll have to look for another brand if the XS size continues is misproportioned"

My go-to short tights

"As a 5’ 3” short-legged runner, 4-inch short tights are where it’s at. Why does no one else make them in this length?!? I now own 3 pairs and they’ve held up great over 3+ years and lots of miles. The pockets are also perfect for carrying gels during marathons! I won’t say they don’t ride up at all, but they definitely ride up less than other short tights do on me. The only thing that could make these almost-perfect shorts even better would be no-slip tape around the bottom opening to help with that."
