Qualifying Time and Race: 2:36:17, Novant Health Wilmington Marathon 2023

How did you feel when you qualified? What was that experience like? I was very excited, as I had just missed the qualifying mark at Houston 6 weeks prior by 43 seconds. Following Houston, I prepared to race my hometown race in the city I live in, Wilmington, North Carolina. It was pretty magical to see so much support from familiar faces and friends, qualifying by 43 seconds the second time around!  

What dream are you chasing at the Trials? It would be an absolute dream to place in the top 50 at the trials, but even if I miss that mark, I will toe the line with the courage to do the best I can, representing more than just myself.
