The most perfect sun hoodie I've worn
"I sunburn very easily so I wear a sun hoodie almost every time I'm out for a run. I have a few from several brands, but none are as good as this one from rabbit. I liked it so much that now I own three pairs. - Hood stays in place even on windy days - Opening on the wrists for watches - Arm length long enough - Small zipper pocket on rear right side (I use it to stash my glasses or rx sunglasses) - Very lightweight, perfect for hot days or as a base layer for colder ones"

Great for all adventures
"Best hiking / running shirt I own. Have it in 2 colors and need more for everyday of the week. Keeps me cool, saves on sunscreen, use it on all my biggest adventures, great in water and very tough material. Hood is great for wind or packing with ice to keep cool. Rabbit has the best high quality products out there!"

Best long sleeve running shirt
"Fantastic long sleeve shirt, great for runs in hot, humid weather. It UPF protection, thumb holes and smartwatch openings and on both sleeves. There are few long sleeve shirts out there that have smart watch openings in both sleeves since I wear my watch on my right wrist. The material is soft and comfortable enough to sleep in. Ive purchased this shirt in different colors. My only complaint is that aren’t that many available color options. Highly recommend this shirt."

Best sun hoodie I've found
"So breathable it's hard to believe it's UPF 50, fits like a glove and looks great, too! Love that the hood is snug enough that wind won't blow it off your head without being too tight, and of course the watch slits allowing you to see/use your fitness or smartwatch functions without disengaging the thumb hole. Great design!"

Great sun hoody
"I am older but a runner and usually do a half marathon and marathon. So I am in the sun a lot. And worry about skin damage. This hood is wonderful. I have only worn it this spring so wonder how I will feel about it when it is 90 degrees, but it is super comfortable, I love my color (orange because I worry about cars) and the features (snug neck, hoodie, zipper and watch opening). Great item."

Excellent Trail Running Hoodie – Comfortable, Breathable, and Reliable
"Excellent Trail Running Hoodie – Comfortable, Breathable, and Reliable I wore this hoodie during the Ozark Foothills 100 and it performed outstandingly. It was the perfect layer for cool morning temps and changing conditions on the trail. Lightweight enough that I never felt overheated, but still provided enough warmth when the air was crisp. The fit is athletic without being restrictive, which is huge when moving for hours and carrying a vest. Material feels soft, breathable, and dries quickly from sweat. Even after long miles, it stayed comfortable and never felt heavy or clingy. I also appreciated how well it moved during climbs, descents, and technical sections—no bunching or irritation. This has quickly become one of my go-to pieces for long runs, hikes, and everyday wear. If you want a versatile hoodie that can handle real endurance use, this is a great buy."

UPF Deflector on Santa Cruz Island
"Great piece of gear, although a tad heavy. Not sure how well it will work in the heat of a summer day when I want to protect myself from those harsh rays but also don’t want to feel the warmth. Was a great piece to wear on an upper 60’s temp day. Higher temps may be an issue but super stoked with the purchase."

Great sun shirt
"This shirt feels light and is really comfortable to run in. I've taken it out on a few runs and I can't wait to try it out when it's really hot out."

"I had never run in something like these unless it was cold. But this hoodie has changed that. Love it"

Q&A
Does the UPF protection wash out of the fabric after some number of washes
No, the UPF is created the way the fabric is woven, it is not a sprayed-on UPF.
Is this appropriate for running in really hot weather (e.g 90-100 F, Texas)?
yes
Sizing Question: I'm 5'9", 160lbs, with a 40 inch chest. I'm usually a medium in shirts/tops but was wondering if you would recommend a large based off the size chart. I'm just worried that I'll be swimming in the hoodie. Thanks!
It depends if you plan to wear this alone (get your shirt size) or if you want it bigger to wear it as a second layer.
Will you be restocking quiet Grey hoodie, I need a men’s medium?
No more restocks this season. Your best bet is to select another color.
