Indigenous Peoples' Day: rabbit x kokom scrunchies
Today is Indigenous Peoples’ Day
To celebrate, we collaborated with rabbitPRO and proud Lakota, Jordan Marie Daniel, and Kokom Scrunchies!
Jordan loves to incorporate beautiful work by Indigenous artists through running - on the road, on the trails, and on her clothes - which has led to this collaboration with 10-year-old Mya Beaudry, the artist behind Kokom Scrunchies to help grow her business.
Mya (Algonquin) from Kitigan Zibi, makes sure all Kokom Scrunchies (and scarves) are handmade with love for people of all ages to enjoy. We are excited to support and give back to Mya and her business with this special edition rabbit neck gaiter and remix pocket tee which features Kokom Scrunchies’ signature floral art.
"We believe that only good can happen when Indigenous Peoples lift each other up. We are so grateful that Jordan believed in and created the space for Mya, as an Indigenous youth to shine." - Kokom Scrunchies
Indigenous representation and collaboration are incredibly important in the visibility of Indigenous Peoples, their artwork, their history, and their culture. Join us in celebrating Indigenous Peoples Day every day and be inspired to learn more ways to support and uplift Indigenous Peoples.
