Waistband is tight
"These shorts are my third-favorite pair from rabbit. I don’t do ultras so I don’t need the many waistband pockets, and I haven’t been able to make them work for my single 8oz soft water bottle or my iPhone 16. The top and bottom hems on the waistband are not as stretchy as the pocket part, so they dig into your stomach a bit. Otherwise, they’re fairly comfortable. I’ve only worn them thrice so far but will update if things change. I ordered these on final sale, so i will make them work. I’m 5’7”, 150 lbs with heavier hips/butt, and got a Small. I think the medium would have been a little big but may have helped the tight waistband issue."

7” smashems review
"Reasonably comfortable with good storage. Legs stretch out easily (and I have relatively thin legs) and could use more compression or grip in the legs and overall. Waistband also seems like it will not hold its shape. Side pockets could be tad longer to more comfortably hold a flask"

My 1st miss with Rabbit
"I bought these for storage during marathon since my vest chaffed and belt kept moving. I like the fit of these - feel like "buttah". They stay in place but I don't really have issues with shorts riding up. However the storage is the issue- right concept - mediocre execution. I love the mesh waistband storage. It's perfect & quick for easy hydration and gel access.. 1st trial run my flasks kept moving & leaked in waistband and it did bounce (8oz). So. I moved to hip pocket. The waistband can easily hold marathon gels (aka 8-10). However I ran again with my keys in waistband and they moved around my waist and kept jiggled. I would like a tighter fit on the waistband pocket. So these won't be part of my marathon kit but again good feel for all other runs."

These are the best tight shorts!
"I'm obsessed with the 7", as 4-5" tend to roll up on me and anything longer I feel defeats wearing shorts. Personal preference obviously. But I do wish they came in different colors. I find these to be very size accurate. I wear a medium in everyday clothes and medium in these. I can't always say that when it comes to running clothing."

Sooo Many Pocketss
"Shorts fit so well. I have enough pockets to carry everything I need. I love that I can carry my phone, fuel, buff and a collapsible water bottle without an extra accessory (ie running belt, vest)."

Waist
"Not loving the waist, they don’t stay tied and creep down and bunch"

Perfect for long runs
"I love how much room these tights have for storing gels for my long runs"

Ran Big Sur Marathon in these
"I love these shorts. Ran Big Sur Marathon in these at 6 months pregnant and they were amazing! The compression support was great and the pouches were indispensable. I got soaked in the rain but the shorts held their shape even when wet. No chaffing thanks to the length, no redness and no riding up."

Good enough trail shorts
"I bought these shorts recently for an ultra trail race where I would have to be carrying all my supplies. I like the extra waist pockets for both easy convenience of grabbing fuel but also not having to put so much in my pack. Overall, the shorts worked out fine. The waist elastic is a bit tight since the seam is so large. Also, the back zip pocket was not as easy to get in and out of as I would have assumed. I also wish the 7" inseam would come in different colors like the 5" inseam and that the material was more matte rather than shiny. I will continue to use them but wish there were a few improvements."

Tight waistband
"The waistband or drawstring is too tight, therefore the short do not lay flat against the midline."
