Men's High Country - True to size - Size 10 (with a tiny wiggle room)

"I put about 10 miles a week of regular trail usage on my shoes, and so far I have to say I find them very well balanced for what I do. There's definitely a snug feel to the upper but for the type of usage, I actually find that helpful, especially on the downhills. The grip is great; though needs to be noted : I don't run in these and I haven't had any wet usage yet. For one of their first tries at specialty footwear, I think they've done an amazing job! Already looking forward to the next iteration of this shoe!!"

Well made shoe with some major design flaws

"This is a really durable shoe but there were a few things wrong: the heel cup is not deep at all and is lined with an extremely slick fabric so my heel moves up and down freely throughout a run. The top of the shoe is very tight across the forefoot, and because these aren’t offered in wide sizes the suggested “fix” of going up a half size made the heel cup issue even worse. Lastly, the natural pivot point of the shoe seems to be somewhere behind my arches - combined with the heel cup issue and tight forefoot this gives it the feeling of trying to run in a really grippy platform flip-flop. If I hadn’t already put some miles on them trying to dial in the fit I’d probably return them."

Great trail shoe

"I love the stability and fit of this shoe. There are two foot beds, I like the more grippy one, keeps the foot stable and no slippage inside the shoe. glad I bought these trail shoes."

Running Alaska rabbit

"Comfy and good snug fit , great toe box . Rugged enough for Alaskan trails and tundra. Still breaking in with about 30 miles on them but feel like they are just about to hit prime comfort . Very satisfied"

Great shoe

"Took them out of the box and ran 7 miles without issue. Good traction and the cushion was good throughout the run. Toe box felt good as well."

Think you know a lot about ultra runners shoes?

"Skeptic I am. 20 years of running Ultras ago I'd run every famous shoe and doubted this shoe would surprise. Let me explain how this shoe is better. But first its weakness: Like any thick sole that puts you up that high, running laterally to the fall line in a boulder field made of rocks about softball size? That is where I really notice the height of the sole and the need to totally focus on foot placement and balance. This limitation is typical for all shoes putting your feet high off the ground. And now for the features that make this shoe my favorite. A 50+ mile race teaches you that your feet swell, and your toes slam the end of any shoe size you would wear in a dress suit. I can wear a 9, I run in a 10. 5 so that Ive got a full thumb's width to the END of the toe box. Conundrum is. . . . . many ultra shoes must be laced painfully tightly to prevent your foot from sliding. Take a look at the laces on this shoe, they are woven through the tongue, AND they are closely spaced and go all the way to the top of the tongue. Then the footbed has this spongy no slip liner that another footbed goes on top of! Result is amazing, your heel cup fit is loose to firm, but as you run down hill there is NO sliding forward, no toes slamming the end of the box! If you love a thicker cushy sole, like original HOKAs or the Ultra Olympus This is in that zone, seems lighter. Materials seem far sturdier as well. The rocker on the toe end of the shoe gives a natural feeling gait; you are not falling over your toes. I figured Rabbit makes nice clothes; shoes are more technical, could they do a shoe well? Yes they have. This shoe has exceeded in comfort all previous ultra running shoes I've tried."
